Jakarta, 12 November 2015 - Has a target of becoming “Best Bank in Asia” In 2020, Bank Mandiri strengthened various company lines. One of the keys to success in achieving this target is capable and competent human resources (HR). To facilitate this step, Bank Mandiri held a meeting between Bank Mandiri and its subsidiary companies, entitled “Human Capital Summit II 2015 Mandiri Group”.

 

At the event, Bank Mandiri President Director Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Deputy President Director Sulaiman Arif Arianto, Director Kartika Wirjoatmodjo were present. Meanwhile, Bank Mandiri's subsidiary companies who attended included Mandiri Tunas Finance (MTF), Mandiri Utama Finance, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Axa Mandiri, Mandiri In Health, Mandiri Sekuritas, Mandiri Investment Management (MMI), Mandiri Axa General Insurance (MAGI ), Steady Bank.

 

On this occasion, Bank Mandiri President Director Budi Gunadi said that there are indicators that show the successful role of Human Capital (HC) in the company. “A good HC certainly has good criteria or indicators,” he said.

 

Not only that, he added that to get good human resources, of course HC must have an innovative recruitment process, carry out training development and best practices, and be supported by adequate talent mobility.

 

“If the best students are asked, where do they want to work? They have answered “mandiri”, meaning that could be an example that the HC Mandiri Group employment brand is good,” said Budi Gunadi.

 

Another indicator, according to Budi, is that Bank Mandiri alumni have occupied many good positions in government and other companies outside Mandiri. “But what would be even better, if Mandiri Group could retain its best people.

 

At the same moment, MTF President Director Ignatius Susatyo said that this meeting had strengthened Bank Mandiri's inter-group strength. “There is no division between Bank Mandiri subsidiary companies,” he said.

 

Through this meeting, in the future it is hoped that there will be standardization of HC among companies under the auspices of Bank Mandiri. In this way, the target is to become “Best Bank in Asia” can be realized.
